Fang Chen’s connection to the Black Stone deepened as the Great Sun Buddha Emperor rose to power and turned against the Glazed Sword Sect. After Fang Chen’s clones defeated the Buddhist fleet’s commanders, the Emperor attacked the sect himself and left it in ruins, though the Origin Realm of Longevity remained beyond his reach.

• The Heaven Mending Goddess refined the Black Stone alongside the Five-Colored Divine Stone, and Fang Chen later drew it out only to be grievously injured when its weight pulled him into the Golden Sea.
• The Great Sun Buddha Lord became a Quasi-Emperor, prompting Yun Qianxue to evacuate the Glazed Sword Sect while Fang Chen’s clones prepared to defend it.
• Fang Chen’s nine clones survived their eighth Saint Tribulation, fused into one body, and destroyed the Buddhist Kingdom’s attacking fleet before defeating the Dragon-Subduing Saint Buddha and Tiger-Subduing Saint Buddha with the Glazed Sword and Glazed Bell.
• The Great Sun Buddha Emperor consolidated his cultivation and set out to attack the Glazed Sword Sect, while Yun Qianxue evacuated its people and tried to take Ye Qingci from the valley.
• The Fusion Clone broke through the valley’s Formations, but neither Yun Qianxue nor Senior Wuming could reach Ye Qingci’s cottage, so the sect’s remaining leaders gathered in the South Sea.
• The Great Sun Buddha Emperor arrived with his fleet, shattered the Mountain-Guarding Formation, and destroyed Glazed Peak and the other Main Peaks.
• Saint Gu Yu refused the Great Sun Buddha Emperor’s demand to embrace Buddhism, and the Emperor held back from attacking the Origin Realm of Longevity because its Supreme Emperor Weapon made it difficult to breach.

Fang Chen returned to save Ye Qingci and defeated the Great Sun Buddha Emperor, then turned to finding a way to restore her sight. As Xiao Yi prepared to grow stronger, allies gathered to rebuild the Glazed Sword Sect while Fang Chen completed a powerful new Formation.

• Fang Chen's Clones escaped the Qingyang Realm with Xiao Yi and the Mysterious Jade Ginseng, while the Great Sun Buddha Emperor invaded and shattered the crystal containing Ye Qingci.
• Ye Qingci awakened and fought the Great Sun Buddha Emperor, destroying much of his fleet before he injured and bound her.
• Fang Chen arrived in time to save Ye Qingci, wounded the Great Sun Buddha Emperor with the Black Stone, and drove him to flee.
• Fang Chen brought Ye Qingci to the Origin Realm of Longevity, where Saint Qingyuan said her ruined eyes and bloodline threatened her life.
• Fang Chen rejected sacrificing Xiao Yi or attacking the Ye Family and chose to raise Xiao Yi's Cultivation so his Essence Blood could heal Ye Qingci.

Fang Chen rebuilt the Glazed Sword Sect, created a Tribulation Ground that restored cultivators through deadly trials, and confirmed that Heavenly Tribulations were stronger in the Southern Wastes. He warned Yue Canglan of the Devil Race’s expansion and left with plans to strengthen the sect and unite the Barbaric Continent.

• Fang Chen completed the Glazed Sword Sect’s rebuilding and activated the Hun Yuan Heavenly Cycle Star Array, whose Barrier withstood his strongest attack.
• Fang Chen passed his eighth Saint Tribulation and shared the Origin Baptism with the gathered Saints and his companions, then placed the still-blind Ye Qingci in a Seven-Colored Saint Lotus.
• Fang Chen refused to readmit former Glazed Sword Sect disciples who had abandoned the sect, restored True Person Liuli’s grave, and learned that Saint Gu Yu had found a way to dilute Holy Water.

Fang Chen launched a raid on the Ye Family’s outer territory, capturing its Saints and miners while plundering the Star Jade Lode. The Ye Family failed to break his Floating Immortal Great Array and delayed its response until its new Quasi-Emperor had consolidated his Cultivation.

• Fang Chen prepared for the Ye Family’s new Quasi-Emperor by studying the Black Stone with Huahua and striking the Myna bird to break its Seals and strengthen his Soul Origin.
• Fang Chen left for the Central Barrens with the Myna bird and the Chaos Heart-Devouring Worm, then took in the wounded Ice Crystal Horned Tiger Hu Niu after the worm killed Ye Zhen’s group.
• Fang Chen trapped the Ye Family Saints at Falling Star City in the Floating Immortal Great Array, killed Ye Long, and had the Myna bird search Ye Xing’s soul for the Star Jade’s location.
• Fang Chen and his companions subdued the people of Falling Star City and the Star Jade mine, then collected the jade and sent the unconscious Cultivators into Spirit Crane Space.
