Fang Chen survived the Nine Nether Soul Devouring Nails by exploring the Tianluo Secret Realm and opening routes to the other Secret Realms for the Glazed Sword Sect. In the Ninth Secret Realm, he encountered a Bone boatman and fought a Pig Demon and a great rhinoceros.

• Li Changsheng pierced Fang Chen’s Soul Origin with the Nine Nether Soul Devouring Nails, but Little Crane rescued him and detonated Meteor Tears across the Xuanhuang Origin Realm.
• Fang Chen learned that the nails were consuming his Soul Origin, then set out for the Tianluo Secret Realm despite his injury.
• Fang Chen found that he and his companions could enter the Tianluo Secret Realm, discovered the Universe Cauldron at its heart, and followed a golden light into Heavenly Dragon Space.

• Fang Chen confronted the old monk, who became a Pig Demon, while a gigantic rhinoceros trapped Fang Chen with Golden Light.
• Fang Chen used the Floating Immortal Sword, the Chaos Giant, and the Heaven Mending Goddess Manifestation to defeat the rhinoceros and batter the Pig Demon into Dao Patterns.

Fang Chen passed the Ninth Secret Realm’s first trial, returned to the Glazed Sword Sect, and defeated Ye Chen, taking one of his Kirin Arms. He helped Ye Kong recover the arm and advance, expanded the Green Grass Great Array’s use for tribulations, and the story ended with the Ye Family preparing to attack Yunxiang Mountain as Li Qingyao became a Quasi-Emperor.

• Fang Chen passed the Secret Realm trial, learned from the Skeleton Boatman about the trials and Ye Qingci’s likely past life, and returned to the Southern Wastes after ten years had passed.
• Fang Chen and his allies returned to the Glazed Sword Sect, where Ye Chen and Li Changsheng were attacking, and Fang Chen confronted Ye Chen while the Myna bird fought Li Changsheng.
• Fang Chen defeated Ye Chen in the Outer Heavens, severed his right Kirin Arm, and returned to the Qingyang Realm to ease his Clones’ suffering from the Nine Nether Soul Devouring Nails.
• Fang Chen took Ye Chen’s Kirin Arm to Ye Kong, who fused with it, restored his Kirin Sacred Body Origin, and became a Nine-Tribulation Saint.

• Li Qingyao and Yue Canglan broke through to the Quasi-Emperor realm as Ye Mian ordered the Ye Family to attack Yunxiang Mountain.
• Fang Chen helped Saint Gu Yu and Saint Qingyuan cure the Moon Saint’s Heavenly Evil Heart-Rotting Powder with his heart’s blood and Xiao Yi’s Essence Blood.
