Fang Chen killed the Monster God and the three other God-level rulers, claimed their Realm Source Pearls, and escaped the Cycle World before confronting the Undying God King's threat. Back in the Secret Realm, he reunited with his companions, began crafting a Longbow, and learned that Ye Chen had reached the meteorite in the Ye Family's Xuanhuang Origin Realm.

• Fang Chen killed the Monster God, claimed her Realm Source Pearl, and defeated the Heavenly God, Underworld God, and Demon God, taking their pearls and artifacts.
• Fang Chen returned the four Realm Source Pearls to the Realm Master, who created three replenishing Source Power pearls and warned him not to provoke the Undying God King.
• Fang Chen gave City Lord Gaoluo, Yun Qingshan, and Mu Hongxue Divine Power beads and the Underworld God's Longbow before leaving the Cycle World with Little Crane and Myna bird.

Fang Chen fought Ye Chen inside the Xuanhuang Pagoda while Ye Qingci and Ye Kong inherited the Xuanhuang Great Emperor’s power. After learning the truth from the Great Emperor’s remnant, Ye Kong seized control of the pagoda and took revenge on the Ye Family, ending by offering Ye Qingci the Nirvana Immortal Eyes.

• Fang Chen entered the Ye Family’s Xuanhuang Origin Realm to reclaim the meteorite and fought Ye Chen as the Floating Immortal Sword absorbed Xuanhuang Qi.
• The Xuanhuang Pagoda pulled Fang Chen, Ye Chen, Ye Qingci, Ye Kong, Myna bird, and Little Crane into its Ninth-Layer Space, where Fang Chen led Ye Qingci and Ye Kong toward the call from the mountains.
• Fang Chen and the siblings reached Xuanhuang City, where Ye Qingci and Ye Kong absorbed the Heavenly Stele’s characters and awakened the Xuanhuang Sacred Body.
• Ye Qingci and Ye Kong advanced their Sacred Bodies while Fang Chen guarded them from Ye Chen and the Ye Family, and the siblings eventually reached the Eighth Transformation.
• As a stronger power awakened in Ye Qingci and suppressed her Xuanhuang bloodline, Fang Chen transferred her Xuanhuang Sacred Body Origin to Ye Kong, who reached the Ninth Transformation as Xuanhuang City collapsed.

Fang Chen explored his Dharma Image of Heaven and Earth, fused it with his swordsmanship, and named its Lifespan-draining power Twilight Power. The arc ended with the Chaos Heart-Devouring Worm revealing his formidable Dharma Image.

• Ye Qingci reclaimed and fused with the Nirvana Immortal Eyes as Ye Kong explained the Xuanhuang Great Emperor’s legacy and warning about the Great Calamity.
• Ye Kong punished Ye Chen and Ye Mian, left the Ye Family with Ye Qingci, and joined Fang Chen on their return to the Glazed Sword Sect.
• Fang Chen studied the Green Grass Great Array and cultivated among his Manifestations, then fell asleep after sharing a meal they prepared.
• Fang Chen’s sleeping Dharma Image created a dangerous space that drained Lifespans, and he later identified it as his own special domain.
• Black Flame Saint told Fang Chen that Ye Kong had killed Ye Chen and Ye Mian, Ye Hong had died from the Xuanhuang Pearl, and Ye Xing had become Family Head.

Fang Chen contained the Evil Lifeforms beneath the Cloud Barren Sand Sea, then discovered his connection to the War Buddha’s disciples and led a Buddhist sermon in Heavenly Buddha City. Tianyuan Academy’s summons drew him and his companions to the academy, where they found a palace filled with Supreme Emperor Weapons.

• Fang Chen traveled to Heavenly Buddha City and helped the Three Burials Buddha Emperor investigate Evil Lifeforms emerging from a sealed space beneath the Cloud Barren Sand Sea.
• Fang Chen repaired the Barrier, discovered the Floating Immortal Sword could absorb the Evil Lifeforms’ energy, and cleared the Sand Sea of the creatures.
• Fang Chen descended into the Mud Pit, encountered roots and enormous red eyes, then escaped as the Evil Lifeforms and gray mist vanished into the pit.
• Fang Chen absorbed the remaining gray mist and took the Three Burials Buddha Emperor to the War Buddha’s cave, where he found the inheritance gone and agreed to teach what he had learned.
• Fang Chen met the Heavenly Buddha, who revealed that Fang Chen was the War Buddha’s third disciple and warned him about the Demon Suppressing Abyss beneath Tianzhu City.
• Fang Chen received the Heavenly Buddha Flower and Heavenly Buddha Eye methods, then led Buddhist Cultivators in reciting the Myriad Buddhas War Scripture, expanding his Soul Perception and drawing a summons from the Central Barrens.
• Fang Chen learned that Tianyuan Academy had opened, returned to the Glazed Sword Sect, and set out with Little Crane while his companions stayed to protect the sect.
• Fang Chen reunited with Li Qingyao at Yaochi Holy Land and traveled with her and the Glazed Sword Sect group to Tianyuan Academy, where he saw a palace containing at least a hundred floating Supreme Emperor Weapons.
