Fang Chen traveled ten thousand years into the past to find Li Qingyao and help her form her Golden Core. After returning with his mission memories erased, he learned Tianyuan Academy had closed and discovered that the Pill Pagoda was hunting Chen Xiaofei.

• Fang Chen completed the Meteor Mountain Range formation, traveled through the Heavenly Stone Forest, and accepted Tianyuan Academy’s mission to travel ten thousand years into the past and identify a mole.
• Fang Chen trained in Blood Dripping Cave for three years, strengthening his body and Floating Immortal Sword, before Palace Mistress Lingxin and Bai Ling prepared him for the journey.
• Fang Chen arrived in the past, learned that Chaos Holy Land had supposedly captured Li Qingyao, and fought Yue Canglan before discovering Li Qingyao had misled him because she did not trust him.
• Fang Chen repaired and improved Yaochi Holy Land’s Fish Leaping Over Dragon Gate Formation, then accompanied Li Qingyao through Immortal Mountain’s Heavens.

Fang Chen returned to the Glazed Sword Sect, strengthened his Golden Core, and learned the Void Shattering Bead technique before helping reopen the Nine Prisons Demon Cave. He entered the cave to hone his power and faced Mo Qianxun, whose activation of the Heavenly Demon Array left their battle escalating.

• Fang Chen returned to the Glazed Sword Sect and learned that Chen Xiaofei had been falsely accused after killing the Pill Pagoda elder’s grandson, while Chen Xiaofei and Yan Ziyi were badly wounded.
• Fang Chen took the identity Fang Sheng and cultivated in the lotus ponds, transforming his Golden Core repeatedly until it reached its fourteenth transformation.
• Fang Chen entered the Glazed Origin Realm with Paper Crane, learned the Bronze Coffin’s Void Shattering Bead technique, and formed nine beads as his Golden Core reached its fifteenth transformation.
• Fang Chen retrieved the restored Glazed Sword and helped the Glazed Sword Sect reopen the Nine Prisons Demon Cave, then entered it with the Myna bird.
• Fang Chen hunted Demons throughout the cave while the Myna bird consumed their Blood Qi and Spiritual Power, and the Floating Immortal Sword absorbed energy and gained red runes.
• Fang Chen encountered Mo Qianxun, a Devil Race Imperial Bloodline, and their clash continued through the Ancient City after Fang Chen wounded him and the Myna bird swallowed his demonic blood.
• Mo Qianxun burned his Bloodline to reclaim the True Demon Spear, battled Fang Chen through the city streets, and activated the Heavenly Demon Array.

Fang Chen killed Mo Qianxun, defeated the rulers of Heavenly Demon City, and advanced through the Demon Cave while strengthening his Golden Core and body. In the Fifth Layer, he slew the Silver Desire Demon Spider and followed the Chaos Demonic Star Vine into a tomb, where he confronted Black Boss and the other spiders beside a Bronze Coffin.

• Fang Chen destroyed the demonic formation, killed Mo Qianxun, and named his new Space Dao technique Shatter Void.
• Fang Chen entered the Fourth-Layer Demon Cave and defeated Mo Tianci, Mo Shan, and Mo Qian, but the Chaos Demonic Star Vine dragged him into the graveyard.
• Fang Chen survived the vine for months, completed his Perfect Golden Core, broke free, and bonded with the Chaos Demonic Star Vine after finding an Emperor Bone.
• Fang Chen drove the Three Overlords into the Fifth-Layer Demon Cave, killed the remaining demons, completed his Golden Core’s Seventeenth Transformation, and followed the myna bird into the Fifth Layer.
• Fang Chen defeated the Silver Desire Demon Spider, whose children then devoured her Primordial Spirit and Little Six before Seventeen fled the valley.
• Fang Chen followed the Chaos Demonic Star Vine into the Great Tomb, collected Primordial Era Spiritual Bones, and reached its core, where he found the Desire Demon Spiders and a suspended Bronze Coffin.
• The myna bird identified the chamber’s remains as Saint Bones and used Tranquil Illusory Heart Lotuses to silence the spiders’ communication while Fang Chen questioned Black Boss and the others.

After breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm, Fang Chen returned to the Glazed Sword Sect and took on its problems while gathering Spirit Flames and forging treasures. He ended the stretch with a Heaven Refining Furnace and thousands of Wrath of the Heavenly Dragon Pills ready for the sect to sell.

• Fang Chen broke through to the Nascent Soul Realm in the Great Tomb, then left the Demon Cave with Mu Yunshu through Lingxu Valley’s Spatial Passage.
• Fang Chen told the Glazed Sword Sect’s Peak Masters about his Chaos Nascent Soul and offered to clear Demons from the Nine Prisons Demon Cave.
• Fang Chen learned Hundred Refinements Heaven and Earth and Devour Heaven and Earth, then traveled with Black Flame Dao Master to Profound Flame Valley.
