Justice (Part Two)

Jiraiya was rendered speechless.

The Third Shinobi World War had absolutely nothing to do with Amegakure. From beginning to end, they had only been victims of the war.

He had no right to condemn others from the standpoint of justice.

Nagato flatly denied Jiraiya's words and said seriously, "For the sake of everlasting peace in the shinobi world, using war is an unavoidable means."

"We of the Akatsuki are fighting for the future of everyone in the shinobi world!"

"To free them from the cycle of peace and war!"

"Our war is a war of justice!"

"And your Shinobi Alliance is the obstacle standing in the way of everlasting peace in the shinobi world!"

Hearing his disciple speak with such conviction, Jiraiya was so furious that his nose nearly crooked.

He shouted, "Do you know what this so-called 'Moon Eye' plan actually is?!"

"Of course I do!"

Nagato nodded and continued, "Human civilization is always caught in a cycle between peace and war."

"Once their wounds heal, people forget the pain."

"People are fickle, and the cycle never ends."

"Moon Eye is a way to resolve this problem permanently."

"In that ultimate Genjutsu world, everyone can obtain everything they want. There will never be any disputes, and war will never happen again."
