Casting aside his displeasure, Madara looked into the distance again, toward the Land of Fire.

"Long time no see. How about I give you a little greeting first, Hashirama?"

A faint smile touched Madara's lips.

He sensed Hashirama Senju's chakra in that direction.

White Zetsu hadn't lied to him. Hashirama had also been resurrected in this era.

He had thought this resurrection would be boring, but with Hashirama here, things were different.

That was the man he regarded as his only rival and friend.

Then, his pair of scarlet Sharingan transformed into overlapping rings.

Nagato had merely been the eyes' custodian.
