Qi Shuang shook his head. "The Sage of Six Paths certainly wouldn't harm his own descendants for no reason."

"He never intended to leave those things on the stone tablet in the first place. He even wanted to erase the record of the Ten-Tails' existence so that future generations would never learn of it."

"The information on that stone tablet was added later by someone else!"

"Who?" Madara Uchiha demanded in astonishment.

Qi Shuang gave him a deep look and said unhurriedly, "You know that person too. He calls himself Black Zetsu!"

"Hahaha—"

Madara Uchiha froze for a moment, then burst into laughter, rocking back and forth and unable to close his mouth.

"I thought it would be some incredibly impressive figure. Who would've thought it was Black Zetsu? Hahaha—"

"What? Is it that funny?" Qi Shuang asked calmly.

The others grew slightly worried because of Madara's laughter.

"I admit, the story you made up earlier was interesting enough that I almost believed it. But the moment you said Black Zetsu recorded the Uchiha inscriptions, I knew you were lying!" Madara said coldly after reining in his laughter.

"Because Black Zetsu was created by my own hand. There's no way he could have appeared in the distant past!"

Madara revealed an astonishing piece of information.

The others immediately looked at Qi Shuang doubtfully. Because they were allies, they had chosen to believe Qi Shuang, but Madara's information clearly contradicted what Qi Shuang had said.

If Madara was telling the truth, then the credibility of everything Qi Shuang had just said would be extremely low.

However, Qi Shuang showed no trace of nervousness. He remained as composed as before.

With a smile that did not reach his eyes, he looked at Madara and said, "Was Black Zetsu really created by you?"
