"After the last battle, America decided to launch military action. Wakanda certainly won't sit back and wait to die either. The elders chose someone very familiar with the American military to serve as military commander."

"You're planning to go to war with America?" Steve realized the gravity of the situation.

"Your country is the one trying to wage war against us."

In fact, although America had yet to deploy troops, several European countries had already begun making moves in Africa. Intelligence agents led by Britain and France in particular had used inspections as a pretext to gather information around Wakanda, unaware that every move they made was being watched by Wakandans.

Steve looked utterly sincere, carrying a conviction that made people believe him. "You came to find me because you want to stop this war
