"Where is your Great Protector?" Dane did not answer. Instead, he questioned her.

Ying Nan shook her head. "I don't know."

"Isn't it your Guardian God? Is it just going to let you die like this?"

"The Great Protector must have its own considerations."

"Or perhaps it's simply letting you die."

"No!"

"If it really is the Great Protector, it should be a long-lived being. To it, you Taro people are nothing more than crops. Once you all die, more will grow back after a while."

"That's impossible!" Ying Nan could barely suppress the surging Dragon God Power within her.

"Not bad. Your power has gone up a little." Dane gauged the strength within Ying Nan and found that her energy had risen rapidly.

If he had guessed correctly, the Great Protector was nearby, but for some reason, it had yet to appear.

Yet it had helped Ying Nan, greatly strengthening the Dragon God Power inside her.

Ying Nan herself had not noticed that her features were becoming younger. With sufficient Dragon God Power, it seemed the host could retain her youth.
