Meng Chong also set out for the Inner Domain, while Li Xuan continued cultivating and pondering the realms beyond Profound Understanding.

• Li Xuan’s disciples established a manor outside the county, where Su Lingxiu began alchemy and Xu Yan fought a black-robed Grandmaster before Li Xuan killed him with a Dragon Subduing Palm.
• Su Lingxiu refined pills that helped Shi Er enter the Qi and Blood Realm, while Li Xuan taught her alchemy and the Medicinal Dao.
• Xue Lingzi took over Elder Wu’s body, seized the Wu Kingdom’s throne, and fought Meng Chong, who awakened Blade Soul and killed him.
• Meng Chong returned wounded, and Li Xuan explained the higher realms while Su Lingxiu developed new pill formulas, and Xu Yan and Meng Chong also advanced their sword and blade techniques.

Xu Yan, Meng Chong, and Su Lingxiu advanced their martial arts while Xu Yan caused a stir at Thousand Star Lake and Seven Stars Academy. After Xu Yan learned Meng Chong was being hunted, he caught up with him and Meng Shushu, and the three entered Heavenly Hammer Mountain’s hidden medicine fields.

• Xu Yan completed his Mountain River Sword Intent at Peerless Pavilion, then lured two black-robed Grandmasters away and killed them after taking their Spirit Crystals.
• Meng Chong rescued Meng Shushu from several Grandmasters, and the two set out for a Spiritual Medicine Treasure Land with a hidden force pursuing them.
• Su Lingxiu entered martial cultivation, completing her Evergreen Bone and becoming the first Pill Doctor Martial Artist, while Li Xuan received cultivation feedback from Xu Yan and Meng Chong.
• Xu Yan defeated Seven Stars Academy’s guardians, fought ten Peak Grandmasters, and taught its Martial Scholars about the deeper foundations of True Martial Dao.
• Xie Lingfeng and Xu Yan met at the Academy, where Xu Yan revealed his identity and killed Yin Hong with a single palm, and Xie Lingfeng then defeated the academy’s young challengers.

After defeating Fire Slaughter Demon Venerable and his allies at Canglan Island, Xu Yan claimed authority over the island and left the gathered experts wary of the brothers’ strength.

• Xu Yan killed Killing Skeleton and other Grandmasters, then joined Xie Lingfeng on the journey to Canglan Island while Du Yuying and the Peerless Grandmaster rewarded him.
• Xu Yan defeated two black-robed perfected Grandmasters near Canglan Island and claimed the island, while Su Lingxiu developed assembly-line pill production and advanced into the Innate Realm.
• Su Lingxiu refined Heaven Marrow Pills from the Heavenly Dew Marrow, and Xie Lingfeng, Hu Shan, and others used pills to advance their cultivation.

Evergreen Pavilion and the rising Great Wilderness faced repeated attempts to seize Su Lingxiu and its pills, while Xu Yan and Li Xuan advanced their martial arts. The Heaven Punishing Alliance was destroyed at Canglan Island, leaving Li Xuan acclaimed across the Inner Domain as its savior.

• Xu Yan and Meng Chong returned to Iron Mountain County as Great Yue Kingdom and other factions moved against Evergreen Pavilion, while the Hidden Pavilion Master led seven Peak Grandmasters there to capture Su Lingxiu.
• Li Xuan killed the Hidden Pavilion Master, Desiccated Demon Venerable, and the Grandmasters who besieged Evergreen Pavilion, after which Great Yue ceded territory and the Great Wilderness began expanding.
• Xu Yan broke through to the Profound Understanding Realm, then killed the Blood Fiend King and began studying how Inner Domain martial artists could switch to Great Wilderness martial arts.
