The Storm Generation Before Dawn

The sudden gale and torrential rain swept across all of Loguetown, and the usually calm waters of East Blue became turbulent like never before.

Amid this extreme weather, a ship at the port of Loguetown suddenly raised a pirate flag bearing the Straw Hat skull, then set sail into the storm.

"Damn..."

By the time Smoker led a large contingent of Marine Soldiers to the port, the ground was littered with fallen Marine Soldiers, and the pirate ship had already sailed beyond the Cannon Platform's effective firing range.

In other words, Loguetown could no longer stop the pirate ship from departing.

Bang!

As he watched the Merry sail away, Smoker slammed the wet cigar from his mouth onto the ground and said, "Prepare a warship. I'll personally pursue that pirate crew."

"Colonel Smoker, but what about Loguetown?" a Marine captain asked cautiously.

"What do you mean, what about it? Have Marine Headquarters send someone else to take over. No matter what, we must catch up to that pirate ship. We absolutely have to confirm that matter."

Smoker gave the order in a tone that brooked no argument. "Prepare the warship immediately. All necessary supplies and personnel must be ready within an hour."

"Yes, sir!"

The Marines at the port immediately stood at attention and responded.

On a high platform not far from the port, Dragon and Yaen stood amid the storm, watching the Straw Hat Pirates depart from afar.

"I have a feeling that those people may bring some kind of opportunity to the organization, Chief of Staff," Dragon said solemnly.

"Hmm, I know. The storm has begun."

Yaen said, "Now that Luffy, Kong, and Ying have truly set sail, the plan we've been preparing for six or seven years can officially begin as well."
