The existence of another soul and consciousness within a person's Mental Space was undoubtedly an extremely abnormal phenomenon.

Even though the essence of the "Void Soul Reaper Blade" was also akin to a soul, once it had been bestowed, unless Yaen's consciousness actively took control of the "Void Soul Reaper Blade," the "Void Soul Reaper Blade," which possessed no consciousness of its own, would not have any other effect on the original consciousness and soul.

However, another soul named "Nun" existed within Charlotte Linlin, and it even possessed a certain degree of consciousness.

As the manifested soul released by Charlotte Linlin—the "Mother Visit Cannon Three Thousand Miles"—was destroyed by Yaen's Zanpakutō, Charlotte Linlin and Nun's souls were also deprived of most of their essence. Not only was it impossible to preserve their complete consciousness, but even many of the memories within Charlotte Linlin's Mental Space were missing.

Still, through those fragmented memory shards belonging to Charlotte Linlin, Yaen more or less figured out the relationship between Charlotte Linlin and Nun, as well as the origins of the Soul-Soul Fruit.

That so-called "Nun" was precisely the previous user of the Soul-Soul Fruit, and she had also been something akin to Charlotte Linlin's adoptive mother during her childhood.

However, during one of Charlotte Linlin's birthday banquets, Charlotte Linlin went on a wild eating spree and swallowed Nun and all her childhood companions as food.

Perhaps it was precisely because Nun's soul and consciousness had constantly influenced Charlotte Linlin that Charlotte Linlin's usual behavior had been so strange and violent.

Still, the fact that Charlotte Linlin had become the new user of the Soul-Soul Fruit through this method had come as quite a surprise to Yaen.
