Historically, before jets occupied the center of military strategy, airships had been weapons of immense strategic importance.

As the "king of unobstructed military transport," an airship's greatest advantage in transportation was that it faced the fewest restrictions in terms of infrastructure and geography.

Vehicles needed flat land and paved roads, trains needed tracks laid in advance, ships needed suitable sea routes and ports, and even aircraft, which faced the fewest obstacles, still needed simply constructed airports for takeoff and landing.

But airships?

They did not even need a patch of flat ground.

From the beginning of the twentieth century to the eve of World War II, airships had enjoyed their golden age, taking the world by storm.

The technology left behind by Zeppelin had been inherited by his good friend, Dr. Aickenna, who built the first super-airship and completed the first round-the-world journey through the skies in human history.

Humanity later expanded airship technology rapidly on that foundation, to the point that it even evolved into an arms race.

Yet just as everyone thought airships were about to reach a new height, the emergence of airplanes brought that momentum to an abrupt end.

In less than ten years, they had completely vanished from humanity's sight.

The root cause was that three major problems had remained unsolved.

Their speed was too slow, their fuel consumption was too high, and they had inflation problems.

Because airships were lighter than air, they reacted too strongly to wind and were essentially carried along by it.

This made it nearly impossible to control their takeoffs, arrivals, and specific routes. Sometimes, even the route itself could not be determined.

For military purposes, a tool with such uncontrollable accuracy was clearly less useful than a more nimble aircraft.

Secondly, helium for airships was expensive, while replacing it
