Even if it's not High-Speed Crossbow Bolt, the initial velocity of a regular crossbow bolt is still quite impressive at such a short distance.

The Tibetan mastiff below was suddenly struck by a crossbow bolt and immediately howled.

"It's a pity that this beast reacted so quickly, otherwise we could have shot it in the eye."

In the instant the crossbow bolt arrived, the Tibetan Mastiff monster miraculously turned its head, causing the bolt to pierce its body.

Su Mo quickly cocked the crossbow and fired another arrow at the Tibetan mastiff.

The crossbow bolt struck the Tibetan mastiff squarely in the face, spurting out a stream of black blood.

"Awooo, human, you deserve to die!"

Having been shot twice, the Tibetan Mastiff learned its lesson and quickly darted backward, standing at a corner of the wall some distance away. After glancing at Su Mo, it disappeared.

The fog began to obscure the view, and Su Mo could no longer see where the Tibetan Mastiff was in the thick fog in the distance. Helpless, he could only switch the crossbow bolts back to Explosive Crossbow Bolts.

"I definitely can't go to the old courtyard. That beast is probably still guarding me. If I go out, I'll be attacked. What a hassle!"

Perched on the wall, Su Mo surveyed the new courtyard.

Compared to the "luxurious" courtyard we just visited, this courtyard is just as impressive.

Four rooms, a chicken coop, but the chickens have all gone, leaving only the fence standing alone on the ground.

He gestured for Oreo to go down and scout the situation, while Su Mo remained perched on the wall, holding Electric Crossbow in one hand, aiming it at the courtyard below.

With one hand free, Su Mo touched the material of the earthen wall, broke off a small piece of soil, examined it for a while, and then came to a conclusion.

"It seems the courtyard walls are for protection; if the walls are breached, the monsters can rush in!"

In the previous two courtyards, the monsters only started their frenzied attack after the earthen walls were destroyed.

Tibetan mastiffs can also sneak in and attack through the breached openings.

If this earthen wall isn't damaged, the Tibetan mastiffs can't get in.

"What amazing power! I wish I could have this ability!" Seeing that Oreo indicated there was no problem, Su Mo sighed slightly and jumped off the earthen wall.

Without any monster attacks, stepping into the intact courtyard, Su Mo felt a slight sense of unreality.

This feeling is amplified, especially after the outermost door of the house is opened with "enthusiasm".

What came into view were three large bags of flour neatly piled up in the corner, their colorful packaging indicating they were manufactured by a major factory.

"Hualian County Grain Workshop, Xiangping City, Hualien County Tianxi Province"

One bag weighs 25kg, which is 50 jin (25 catties).

"Huh, where is Tianxi Province? I've never heard of it before." Su Mo could understand each character of the neat and orderly writing, but when put together, it was a blind spot in his knowledge.

There is a province called JX in China. Su Mo even visited the provincial capital, Nanchang, during his Earth era and ate the unique Three-Cup Chicken there.

As for this Tianxi Province, I've never heard of it.

"It seems my previous guess was wrong. This is definitely not Earth. It's probably some parallel world."

Su Mo grabbed the flour sack and hoisted it onto his shoulder, muttering to himself.

Fifty pounds of flour isn't heavy, but it's easy to move around because of its Storage Space, and Su Mo quickly piled it up in the middle of the yard.

Back inside the house, Su Mo looked at the table again.

Several condiment bottles were overturned on the table. The vinegar had completely drained, but the salt was fine, still snow-white.

The chili oil had already solidified on the table and was definitely unusable.

After rummaging around, Su Mo found a bunch of seasonings in a cardboard box under the table.

"Good heavens, this family has some real gourmets; they've prepared plenty of seasonings. This is a real treat for me, Su! Haha!"

Three bags of 250g refined salt are enough to feed one person for more than a year without any problem.

Two 500g bags of coarse salt, which look like they're for pickling vegetables.

One bag of Liu Shouze Spicy Twelve Fragrance contains 60g.

One packet of Mama Le Chicken Essence contains 40g.

Two unopened bottles of oyster sauce, one 200ml; one unopened bottle of dark soy sauce, 300ml; and one bottle of sesame oil, 40ml.

All the seasonings were sealed tightly, and almost none of the seasonings inside evaporated. As Su Mo picked up the box and tapped it inside, it made a crisp sound.

After placing the box in the middle of the courtyard, Su Mo returned to the house and took a look. He decided to go all out and took the cutting board, along with the kitchen knife, rolling pin, pasta machine, frying spoon, frying spatula, several stainless steel basins, a large water vat, several plates and bowls, and two Iron Pot used for cooking.

The kitchen, which was originally a bit crowded, suddenly became spacious after Su Mo's ransacking.

After thinking for a moment, Su Mo stood on the table again, removed the kitchen light bulb, and carried the table to the middle of the courtyard.

A true junk collector is someone who picks up any kind of trash, believing that if you can get something cheap, you might as well take it.

Taking less than one item feels like a huge loss in retrospect.

With a joyful heart, Su Mo opened the second door to the treasure vault!

"Hmm, this should be a side bedroom. It's a pity that this family didn't put a TV in it, and the bedding isn't very good quality either!"

Looking at the severely moldy bedding in front of him, and then thinking of the brand-new bedding he had just given up, Su Mo felt a pang of heartache.

Fortunately, after rummaging around a bit, Su Mo found quite a few useful odds and ends in the drawer of the cabinet by the window.

A pair of scissors, a nail clipper, a small mirror, four notebooks that have never been filled with anything, and three ballpoint pens.

A small desk lamp that can be charged via USB, and an Old Phone that looks like it's been retired for who knows how many years.

Su Mo pushed off the back cover of the Old Phone, picked up the battery, looked at it, and then put it back.

"The battery is still fine. This is a reliable Old Phone; it might even be usable after we leave!"

With a smile, Su Mo simply used his strength to remove a tablecloth, filled it with all the usable odds and ends, stood on the table, and did the same thing again, removing the light bulb before taking everything to the courtyard.

"What a pity. This family seems to be well-off, but they don't have many good things inside. It seems they don't live here often."

The items in the two rooms were piled on the floor; compared to the first time I came in, I had made some gains.

But thinking about the LCD TV that was trampled to pieces by the Tibetan Mastiff, Su Mo was so angry that his teeth itched.

Looking at the last two unexplored houses, Su Mo stepped into the side house, leaving the main house in the middle for final exploration.

"Sigh, this family is really poor. No wonder they don't have any Mutated Creature to protect them!"

Su Mo reached out and fanned away the dust kicked up by the violent breaking of the door, then peered inside to examine the furnishings.

The bedding was still moldy almost all over, just like before. The table was also in a mess, and some cosmetics had their lids removed and were exposed to the air, where they had long since dried out.

After flipping through the table, Su Mo disappointedly removed the light bulb from the ceiling and gathered up a pile of temporarily useless clutter, placing them in the center of the yard.

"There's only one room left. I hope this gives me some hope!"

With utmost devotion, Su Mo raised his hands and swung the axe down with all his might, striking the door lock with a single blow.

Creak!

The wooden door could not withstand the Giant Strength of the axe and shattered into several pieces. Taking two steps back and putting away the axe, Su Mo kicked the door with all his might.

One half of the wooden door was kicked open by the force of the foot, leaving the other half, with its lonely key lock, trembling slowly in the air.

The dust inside was instantly stirred up by the incoming airflow and scattered wildly through the air.

Covering his mouth and nose, Su Mo stood at the door until the musty smell dissipated and the dust settled before stepping inside.

"Holy crap. Is this an air conditioner???"

The first thing Su Mo saw upon entering was the cabinet air conditioner placed in the corner.

You can still vaguely see a brand logo on it - Tian'er Air Conditioner.

Turning his head, Su Mo was so happy he almost fainted.

It is truly a case of "the mountains and rivers seem to block the way, but then a village appears amidst the willows and flowers."

On the right side of the room, in front of the bed, there was a television set, none other than the same LCD TV as the one that had been trampled by the Tibetan mastiff!

Moreover, this LCD TV is probably at least 40 inches, which is much bigger than that one!

Su Mo walked over to the television and tenderly stroked the LCD Screen.

The old-fashioned CRT TV was a great help, and this TV, which looks significantly more high-end, definitely has more powerful features.

Remove the power strip, unscrew the screws securing the TV, and the entire large screen is removed.

With a slight effort, Su Mo lifted the television and piled it in the center of the courtyard.

What was originally a meager haul suddenly looked incredibly impressive! "We'll take this air conditioner too!"

Turning back to the front of the main house, Su Mo used a little effort to climb up the eaves and stand on the roof tiles.

The outdoor unit of the air conditioner is mounted on the eaves of the roof and is fixed in place.

I tried to twist the fixed screws and iron bars, but I didn't have a special screwdriver; this thing was exceptionally sturdy.

After thinking for a moment, Su Mo simply took out his iron axe, chopped the iron bars in two blows, put the air conditioner outdoor unit into his Storage Space, and jumped off the roof.

After dusting himself off, Su Mo returned to the main house and carried the air conditioner back to the center of the area.

After circling around three or four times and confirming that all the villagers had taken their things, Su Mo began to figure out how to pack all of these things together.

Taking it out directly is probably impossible.

The only thing to do is to follow Feng Mengyue's example, hold these items, and patiently wait for the time to run out so that you can automatically exit the ruins.
