A Goddess with an Unfortunate Figure

When Ritsuka Fujimaru and the others were discussing with Gilgamesh how to resolve the issue of the Three Goddess Alliance, a Uruk soldier came to report that the goddess Ishtar was approaching aboard the Celestial Ship.

The news left everyone speechless. Ishtar should not have counted as an enemy, should she?

But she was also a member of the Three Goddess Alliance, so... hopefully, this could be resolved peacefully.

Just as Gilgamesh was hurling a barrage of sarcastic insults, Siduri was trying to dissuade him, and the King of Heroes ignored her completely and continued spewing venom at Ishtar—

It happened to be overheard by the arriving Ishtar.

"What did you say?!"

Riding the Celestial Ship, Ishtar smashed straight through the ceiling and burst into the palace. She glared furiously at Gilgamesh, her voice blazing with anger, both hands clenched tight as though she were about to start punching people.

Ishtar's entrance once again refreshed Chaldea's understanding of her.

Ritsuka Fujimaru quipped, "The throne room's ceiling was destroyed, and then a goddess descended from the sky!"

The guards stationed at the palace were utterly panicked at the goddess's arrival.

"That's Lady Ishtar?!"

"Everyone, retreat! Retreat!"

"If we don't run now, she'll make our lives hell!"

The guards fled in a panic and listened from outside the palace, not daring to witness the conflict between their king and the goddess.

Gilgamesh did not care in the slightest. In fact, it was better that they left this dangerous place first.

Siduri was helpless at first, then said nervously, "Emergency measures! Priests, quickly prepare the special prayer rites! Given the urgency, permission is granted to cast suppression spells upon the city's deity!"
