Uchiha Hiko stared coldly at Fate before him, and Fate stared back at him.

"I didn't even get to see that guy one last time before you wiped him out. That's rather regrettable, but I should thank you too—for killing him for me."

The black robe behind Fate instantly fell away. Once his body was fully exposed, countless horrifying wounds could be seen across it. It was hard to imagine how they had been inflicted. Logically, they should have healed after some time, yet the man before him looked as though recovery was no longer possible.

"No need to thank me, because you'll be killed by me as well."

Uchiha Hiko felt nothing as he looked at Fate before him. He merely watched him naturally, his gaze as ordinary as ever, unchanged from usual. Especially at this moment, it was even more so. Of course, all of this ultimately required a certain degree of responsibility to handle properly.
