Some members of the alien races had already gathered in the formations surrounding the Main Peak at the center of the Ring Mountain Range.
Unwilling to risk death by entering the Main Peak, they could only take shelter in the formations for the time being.
The formations protected them within, keeping even the hurricane from reaching them.

During their long wait, a ring of dust suddenly burst from the middle of the Main Peak before them.
The alien race members all widened their eyes.
"What happened inside the Main Peak?"
"What tremendous power..."
"It's cracking, it's cracking... the Main Peak is going to collapse!"
A thick crack burst open around the middle of the Main Peak, rapidly spreading around its circumference.
As the Main Peak fractured, muffled thunder erupted, shaking the entire Ring Mountain Range.
The Main Peak, towering three hundred kilometers high, began slowly tilting to one side. It did not fall quickly at first, but gradually gathered speed. Its summit crashed directly onto the eastern stretch of the Ring Mountain Range, crushing that section as well.
The alien race members gathered in the formations stared blankly at the sight. None of them could have imagined that the upper half of the Main Peak would collapse!
Only half of the once cloud-piercing Main Peak remained, turning it into a bare, flat-topped mountain...
The shock was so great that the alien race members sheltering in the formations were left dumbstruck.
The chaotic origin spirits lurking in the upper half of the Main Peak also grew restless upon sensing the commotion.
They had no idea what had happened, and only calmed down after the Mother Body of the chaotic origin spirits soothed them.
