In the clearing within the Blazing Maple Forest, Kong Hou frowned at Nuwa, whom he had dragged inside, his expression darkening.
There were certain margins of error and conditions to his ability to drag beings from within chaos into the Other Shore.
No more than three days could have passed since someone left the Other Shore. After three days, Kong Hou could no longer see the shadow they had left behind when they exited. And if those who had exited stood together, he would grab one of them at random.
Every time, Kong Hou had aimed for Luo Zheng, yet every time, he had grabbed the wrong person...

A brand-new arm began growing from the stump of his left arm again.
His previous two severed arms had regenerated extremely quickly, but after he had "sacrificed" two arms in succession, the third regenerated much more slowly.
