But this latest golden axe that cleaved down from the void was different. Every place it struck was coated with a ring of golden light.
Upon closer inspection, that ring of golden light proved to be tiny golden flames.
The flames rapidly spread along the severed end of the vine, like a golden mouth intent on burning it away entirely.

A keen beam of golden sword light slashed across the vine, severing the small burning section. It was the Eastern Emperor who had struck.
That small severed section of vine burned away completely in the blink of an eye...
"Who wielded that golden axe?" Ying Lao asked, her expression grave.
"I can't find the target. This space power appeared in a very strange way," Fuxi said, using the heavenly eye while spreading his divine sense outward.
After appearing, the enormous axe had vanished through space, disappearing from everyone's sight. Fuxi could not trace its origin at all.
"That golden axe belonged to an Ox-headed Man," Blood Lion said.
Ox-headed Men were among the most dangerous alien races in Taiqing Heaven. Their individual fighting strength was terrifying, but their mobility was relatively poor. Keeping one's distance from them was enough to stay safe.
