Luo Zheng paid no mind to Evil God's mockery. Instead, he asked, "Were you eavesdropping on us?"
"Nothing in the Mother World can escape my perception," Evil God said arrogantly. "Everything here belongs to me and serves my purposes. How could that be called eavesdropping?"
Calling the Mother World his World Within was naturally an exaggeration. Evil God had not yet reached the point of being omniscient and omnipotent.
Still, his control over the Mother World was unprecedented, and no one would ever surpass it.
Evil God continued, "If you agree to submit to me, I will make you the ruler of the Mother World. The creatures of every great province and all the superpowers will bow before you. You and I will build this Mother World together. What do you say?"
After speaking, he gently waved his hand. Tens of millions, even hundreds of millions of emerald-green vines rapidly sprouted across Li Mountain. Leaves some ten feet wide unfurled, and all manner of wondrous flowers and exotic grasses bloomed. Their refreshing fragrance spread everywhere, and all of Li Mountain seemed to sink into an emerald-green
sea.
The Wa Clan and humans on Li Mountain were stunned by the spectacular sight.
"Who did this?"
"Covering Li Mountain with so many plants... only that Chaos Ancient God who controls the life truth could manage it..."
"Why would it do this?"
The people of Li Mountain did not yet know of Evil God's existence, so they felt little fear.
"Of course not," Luo Zheng refused without a moment's thought.
He and Evil God stood on completely opposing sides. Cooperation was utterly out of the question. Evil God was not surprised by Luo Zheng's answer. He gently waved his hand, and all the plants swayed toward him as though bowing in submission. "This
