At first glance, the Heaven Ring Staff did not look extraordinary.
It was nothing more than a withered wooden stump that was thin at the bottom and thick at the top. Only the tangled crown at the top had spread out, making it look bloated and intricate, with a subtly mysterious refinement.
Luo Nian extended his several-times-enlarged hand and grabbed the Heaven Ring Staff, pulling it upward.
But that pull failed to yank it out of the amethyst.
Afraid of snapping it, Luo Nian threw several punches at the lower half of the amethyst, smashing it to pieces before finally extracting the Heaven Ring Staff.
"Does this Heaven Ring Staff really have the power to reverse the situation?"
He looked it over from one side, then the other, before injecting a strand of consciousness into it. The instant that strand of consciousness entered, it vanished without a trace, like a mud cow sinking into the sea.
"Useless?"
Luo Nian froze for a moment, then walked toward the doorway with the Heaven Ring Staff in hand. The little girl was still standing there silently.
With the Heaven Ring Staff taken away, Leviata would lose its reason for existing, and she would naturally disappear as well. Of course, that might take quite some time.
"Hey, how do you use this Heaven Ring Staff?" Luo Nian asked.
As usual, the little girl shook her head. "I don't know."
"You don't know anything..." Luo Nian's goal was to bring the Heaven Ring Staff back to Luo Zheng's side, so he was in no hurry to seek an answer. "Then how do I leave this place?"
Just then, an immense force of attraction suddenly came from inside the Heaven Ring Staff, drawing away a small portion of the power within Luo Nian's body.
