Luo Zheng looked up at the Downgrader. His posture had not changed since he appeared.
An existence beyond infinite energy had no techniques, no movements, no imposing aura. None of those were necessary.
The Downgrader's gestures, punches, and chopping palms were all superfluous, nothing more than habits.
"E, can you stop?" Luo Zheng asked.
This was the first time anyone had addressed the Downgrader by name to his face.

Crimson light shone from his six pairs of compound eyes. The constrained light shot out in a thin line and struck the immortal estate's barrier, sending faint ripples across its surface.
The Downgrader had not intended to attack. It was merely a reaction born of his anger.
"Shut up! Lowly human, bring Cong out! Make it come out and speak to me!" the Downgrader shouted.
Everyone in the immortal estate wore a peculiar expression.
Luo Zheng had merely called the Downgrader "E," and he had become extremely furious. Why?
"Cong grew weary and entrusted all its power to me," Luo Zheng said.
"Entrusted it to you! On what grounds!"
The Downgrader seemed even angrier upon hearing this.
A fissure suddenly split open down the middle of his head, forming a huge mouth lined with interlocking fangs.
Enormous wings with overlapping rows of scales sprouted from his back, making him the very image of a demon from hell.
Boom!
Almost in the blink of an eye, he slammed into the immortal estate's barrier.
The supposedly indestructible barrier was forcibly distorted by the Downgrader. Though it did not shatter, it caved inward all the way down.
Pressing against that thin barrier, the Downgrader forced his way down until he was barely a foot from Luo Zheng.
"Why entrust all your power to such a lowly creature!" the Downgrader roared at Luo Zheng.
