Feng Ge was raised in the Divine Nest, where young Divine Nest Demon Women were forced into life-and-death competition. Regarded from birth as the most likely candidate to become the Phoenix Woman, she survived among blood and corpses until the Eastern Emperor entered the Divine Nest and brought her away at the age of six.
