"Yeah, totally! It's better than any barbecue I've ever had!" Kiba let out a loud burp as well. Akamaru, on top of his head, had eaten until his belly faced the ceiling and was lying there spread-eagled, snoring away.
Hinata held a bottle of juice in both hands, sipping it in tiny mouthfuls as she looked rather embarrassedly at the mountain of empty plates piled in front of her, her cheeks faintly red.
She quietly lifted her eyes to glance at Menma, only to find him smiling at her. Her face turned even redder at once, and she hurriedly lowered her head.
"Hinata, your appetite really is getting more and more amazing." Ino propped up her chin, her eyes full of wonder. "Look, even Choji can't out-eat you anymore."
Choji was leaning back in his chair too, rubbing his belly in satisfaction. "I was off my game today. Next time I'll definitely win it back... burp."
Shikamaru shook his head helplessly. "Seriously, it's just a meal. What's there to compete over?"
That said, the plates in front of him had basically been cleared too.
