Uchiha Diqin suddenly interrupted Ronglin's thoughts. Ronglin's sword-like brows furrowed slightly as he looked up at her and waved a hand.
"I'm thinking. Whatever it is, put it off for now."
"But this is urgent."
Since Konoha had taken control of the Land of Rain, Ronglin had been run ragged, and Uchiha Diqin had seen it all. It was not that she wanted to disturb him; if possible, she would much rather he rested for a while longer.
What woman would want the man she loved to work himself to the bone every day?
"What is it?"
The slight furrow between Ronglin's brows gradually eased as he asked.
Uchiha Diqin opened the folder, glanced through it, and reported, "Previously, Lord Hokage ordered people to search everywhere for surviving members of the Uzumaki Clan. There are now quite a few leads, and some people have already been brought back to the village. They are waiting for Lord Hokage to arrange their placement. In addition, it has been somewhat difficult for some Uzumaki Clan members to leave where they live."
After their clan had been wiped out, some members of the Uzumaki Clan had scattered across the world. It was impossible that every last one of them had died; there had to be many survivors living elsewhere. But Konoha could not simply take away every scattered survivor it found.
Some were willing to leave on their own, but others had grown accustomed to their current lives and were unwilling to leave their homes.
On top of that, local forces stood in their way. Even if the people themselves were willing to leave with Konoha's men, the local powers might not be willing to let them go.
"In the Land of Lightning, we found a small group of Uzumaki Clan members, but Kumogakure
