Watching Kurotsuchi treat herself like an insider and sweep through his food, Ronglin rubbed his faintly aching forehead and asked with a dark expression:
"Hey, girl, your grandfather and father won't let you get close to me, so why did you come running over here all on your own?"

Kurotsuchi raised her chopsticks. "I'm not a girl anymore. Second, that's what they think, not what I think. Are you, Uchiha Ronglin, some man-eating demon? Are you going to eat me?"
Kurotsuchi shrugged indifferently and continued stuffing herself.

That was quite the reason. Ronglin was rendered speechless, utterly unable to refute her. Still, in most people's eyes, he really was a man-eating demon.

Itachi and Kimimaro, standing nearby, nearly had their eyes pop out of their heads. This was the first time they had ever seen Ronglin tolerate an unfamiliar person acting so recklessly. They had never seen anything like it before.
Shocked though he was, Itachi decisively signaled Kimimaro with his eyes before quietly leaving. Kimimaro followed.
Clearly, there was no need for them to remain there. Staying any longer would only ruin the mood and disturb their lord's good fortune.
This girl really wasn't afraid of strangers at all. Watching Kurotsuchi gorge herself on everything in sight, Ronglin could not help but find it amusing.
Ronglin said nothing. He merely folded his arms and watched her devour the food.
Kurotsuchi did not care either. She focused on her meal and quickly finished all the dishes Ronglin had ordered. Only then did she set down her chopsticks in satisfaction, pat her slightly bulging belly, and sigh:
