"Cough, cough!!"
The countless snow-capped mountains had vanished. Once everything settled, the once-mountainous region had nearly been reduced to rolling hills.
In a place littered with snow, rocks, and mud, Ronglin crawled out from underground. He sat on the ground, coughing and gasping for breath.
His luck had been rather poor. He had happened to run into an area where space was unstable. Although he had avoided any fatal danger, he was still injured. His right arm was covered in wounds, with blood continuously streaming down.
If it had been anyone else, they would have long since been shredded by the chaotic space.
"Good thing we didn't fight outside."
Looking around, Ronglin fell onto the ground. He did not care that the mud, broken stones, ice, and snow would leave him filthy. Right now, he only wanted to rest properly.
Kaguya Otsutsuki's use of the Expanding Truth-Seeking Ball consumed an enormous amount of Chakra, but he was not doing much better.
Moreover, Chakra was not Ronglin's strong suit. Compared to her, he was at an even greater disadvantage. Fortunately, the Power of Time was absurdly powerful. Otherwise, he would have been the one facing tragedy.
"She really is the greatest monster in the world of Hokage."
A bitter smile suddenly appeared at the corner of Ronglin's mouth. He was now too lazy even to tend to his wounds. All he wanted was a good rest.
Kaguya Otsutsuki appeared above Ronglin and slowly descended. Though she looked somewhat disheveled, compared to Ronglin, she was doing incredibly well. The previous collision had not put her in any real predicament.
"I told you that you would die."
She slowly descended and hovered beside Ronglin. Looking at his battered and utterly miserable state, Kaguya Otsutsuki gave a cold smile.
Ronglin had not been mistaken.
