"Stop!" Flying Squirrel had long witnessed the Empress's cold-blooded ruthlessness. To her, attacks that made no distinction between friend and foe were perfectly normal.

A spiraling air blade descended from above, its swirling attack completely covering Ronglin's possible movements and trapping him within, intending to force him into a desperate situation in a single strike.
But Ronglin remained unmoved. He flipped and lashed out with a kick. An arc flashed through the air as a Crescent Air Blade surged upward.
Ronglin's Tempest Kick blade was faster and fiercer, shattering the sword energy on impact before continuing toward Flying Squirrel without losing momentum.
Flying Squirrel was greatly alarmed. He only had time to raise his sword across his chest before Ronglin's Tempest Kick blade struck. An intense pain burst from his chest, followed by a sweetness in his throat as he spat out a mouthful of blood.
The Tempest Kick blade hit Flying Squirrel and sent him flying. He crashed into the distant sea, skipped once across the surface, then sank beneath it.
"Vice Admiral Flying Squirrel!" The other soldiers aboard the warship cried out in panic. Quite a few of them fearlessly jumped into the sea, trying to rescue Flying Squirrel from beneath the waves.
The remaining soldiers roared as they raised their weapons and charged at Ronglin.
"Buzz!"
A dark gray vortex spread outward as Ronglin's Conqueror's Haki crushed down upon them. In an instant, the entire ship was shrouded in his Conqueror's Haki, and the soldiers aboard collapsed one after another, foam spilling from their mouths.
"Crack!"
Suddenly, flickering lightning emerged within the dark gray aura of Conqueror's Haki. A pink aura actually forced open Ronglin's Haki's coverage, carving out a small space.
"Oh?" Ronglin turned his head and saw Boa Hancock's furious gaze fixed on him.
