"Whitebeard?!" A powerful aura struck down savagely from behind. Kizaru did not need to guess who was attacking him from the rear.
"It's me!" Whitebeard curled his right fist, and a sphere of white light suddenly condensed around it. The immense power gathered within the sphere nearly tore space apart.
"Boom!"
As he answered, Whitebeard's attack had already come crashing down.
But a mass of golden light burst forth below, like a massive sun slowly rising, directly blocking Whitebeard's attack!
"!!!" Whitebeard was taken aback. His surprise strike had been meant to teach Kizaru a lesson for ambushing Ronglin, but he had not expected Kizaru to have time to defend himself.
"You're already injured this badly. If I still couldn't block that, wouldn't that mean I'm unfit to be an admiral?" Kizaru still wore that lecherous expression, but his right hand had already fired a streak of light!

The light instantly pierced Whitebeard's body, adding another bloody hole to his already numerous wounds!
"Urgh!" Already severely wounded, Whitebeard took Kizaru's blow and let out a muffled groan. He staggered back half a step and spat out a mouthful of blood...
