"Damn it! Do I really have to be this unlucky?!" Ronglin cried out again, instantly preparing for battle. But if it really came to a fight, he did not dare go all out. If he destroyed the boat, then no matter how formidable he was, he would still suffocate to death in the deep sea!
Just as the deep-sea monster drew closer and closer, Ronglin suddenly felt an icy chill. A massive black hole appeared behind the creature, and a swirling current stirred up the entire surrounding area, pulling Ronglin's little boat helplessly toward that black hole.
"Th-This is...?" A foreboding feeling erupted in Ronglin's heart. Then he watched as the monster that had been swimming toward him was forcibly sucked into that black hole.
Immediately afterward, rows of white mountains closed together from above and below, sealing the black hole shut in an instant. The current from the underwater vortex stopped at once, and Ronglin's small boat was pushed back by the circling water.
Cold sweat poured down Ronglin's forehead as he shrieked, "Holy shit! Are they seriously not going to let me live? How can there be creatures like this even at the bottom of the sea?!"
Those rows of white mountain peaks were actually nothing more than a Sea King's teeth, and that enormous black hole was merely its mouth. A monster whose eyes were bigger than a boat had been swallowed in a single bite by an even more terrifying monster. The sight nearly drove Ronglin out of his mind.
"I was careless!" Ronglin wiped away his cold sweat while forcing himself to stay calm. "I came here too hastily. Turns out there was so much I failed to prepare. I need to learn from this. Next time, I have to be fully prepared before coming."
