Ronglin smiled. "So you'll let the murderer of a Celestial Dragon go? Whether I kill Doflamingo or not, you'll still have to fight me. So why not let loose and have a real battle? If you win, take my head back and report in. If you lose, leave Doflamingo's head behind and get back to Marine Headquarters to be your admiral."
Aokiji hesitated. The situation before him made his choice incredibly difficult. Dressrosa had suffered tragedy for years. Did it have to endure the devastating effects of a battle that had nothing to do with its people, then suffer for years more?
Whether to fight Ronglin or not put Aokiji in a difficult position. If he simply watched Ronglin leave, the Celestial Dragons would never accept the loss of face. As an admiral, Aokiji would also be unable to report back.
