"Looks like this forest is really huge!" Jazz clicked his tongue. If Boss Ronglin hadn't carried him through the air, the three of them would have had no idea how many days it would take to get through on foot.
"Finally, people again!" Ronglin saw a small village in the distance, wisps of smoke curling upward, and felt immensely pleased.
This time, the three of them did not arrogantly swoop through the sky. Instead, they kept a low profile and walked over on their own two legs.
Many crops had been planted around the small village. The farmers working the fields all wore expressions of happiness and contentment, utterly unlike the people they had seen when they first landed on the island...

Ronglin gently took Jazz's hand, making him swallow the rest of his words.
Ronglin gave Caesar a look. Caesar shed his usual disdainful expression and ran over with a cheerful grin to greet the villagers.
"Young man, where are you headed?" Some of the warmhearted villagers took an immediate liking to Ronglin when they saw his refined features.
"We're heading to Ashil Capital! We got lost and don't know which way to go." Ronglin casually made up an excuse. "Is it far from here to the capital?"
The villager looked at Ronglin strangely. "There's only one road here, and it comes from the capital, right? Didn't you come from Ashil Capital, young man?"
Ronglin's heart sank. If, as these villagers said, the only road leading to this village came from Ashil Capital, did that mean no one here had ever been to the coast beyond the Primordial Forest?
