By now, you've basically been marked as someone who must be eliminated. The Revolutionary Army's ideal is to change this rotten world, to let it rise from its lingering decay and welcome sunlight and hope again. But if you keep destroying the pillars that maintain the balance of the New World without restraint, even we can't predict what consequences it will bring. A situation beyond our control is undoubtedly the most dangerous thing to us."
"But I have an ideal too!" Ronglin turned around, putting away his melancholy expression. He looked at Sabo and said seriously, "I don't know what world balance is, and I don't know how powerful the people blocking my path toward my ideal are. I only know that I won't spare anyone who wants me dead!"
Sabo said nothing. He knew that everyone's ideals were the driving force and meaning behind their lives. Some dreamed of becoming the Pirate King, while others dreamed of changing the world. They treated their ideals as faith, as part of their souls. If those ideals were gone, their lives would become meaningless, as though they had lost their souls.
Sabo did not know what Ronglin's ideal was, but he had carefully analyzed every major event Ronglin had been involved in. In nearly all of them, those utterly wicked people had been ruthlessly trampled beneath Ronglin's feet. Then, the regions they ruled would be rescued from the abyss of darkness and given a different kind of life.
Were Ronglin's acts of kindness deliberate, or unintentional?
Many people had studied the matter, but Ronglin was impossible to figure out. He never played by the rules, leaving others with
