"Take down that kid!" Drake stared coldly at Jazz and gave the order to his men. Unfortunately, he still failed to notice Ronglin standing silently among the crowd, smiling at him.
"Kid! State your name!" A burly man beside him leaped into the air, flying straight over from the pirate ship. He drew two pistols from his waist midair and pulled the triggers, unleashing a barrage at Jazz. "I'll carve your name onto your tombstone!"
"Kami-e!"
Jazz sneered as he used Kami-e, one of the Six Powers' basic Marine techniques. Feeling the movement of the air currents, he saw the bullets' trajectories with perfect clarity. Like a flower swaying in the wind, he drifted lightly and gracefully, easily evading every bullet.
"Hm?" As a former Marine, Drake recognized the technique at once. He had begun paying close attention to this kid's every move.
"Haha! You've got some skills!" The second-in-command laughed as he landed atop the railing at the ship's edge, then charged wildly toward Jazz. He raised his hand and fired several shots in succession, but Jazz lightly shifted aside, rendering the bullets completely useless.
"Hmph!" The second-in-command flicked both hands and drew two short blades from his waist, launching into close-quarters combat with Jazz in a fierce, overwhelming manner.
Jazz was utterly fearless. He fully activated his Observation Haki and Armament Haki, bringing his strength to its peak. Every movement of his opponent was completely within his grasp.
"You've got quite the presence!" The second-in-command swung his twin blades, his knife techniques vicious and dazzling, layers of flashing light and shadows filling the air. Laughing wildly, he sealed off every route of escape and launched a relentless assault, intending to teach this kid who didn't know his limits a lesson.
"You're too slow!" Jazz dodged his opponent's attacks
