"Looks like it!" A familiar voice came from behind him. Green Bull turned around and saw Fujitora and Momousagi walking in.
"What are they after?" Green Bull said suspiciously. "There's no reason they wouldn't go support the Third Fleet! Kerris Island is in such a disastrous state right now. Logically speaking, their Alliance Leader shouldn't be risking himself to fight us!"
Fujitora's tone darkened. "I'm guessing they saw through our Luring the Snake Out of Its Hole plan. That's why their Alliance Leader personally came to intercept us, intending to disrupt our pincer tactic."
After hesitating for a moment, Green Bull picked up the Den Den Mushi and contacted CP0's Commander to report the situation here.
"How is that possible? Just how did Ronglin take a detour over there?" Bony-Sen's voice sounded utterly incredulous.
Green Bull said, "We've encountered Ronglin. They're extremely powerful, and we can't match them. We're being beaten back step by step. I'm afraid the Kerris Island mission will be very difficult to complete!"
On the other end of the Den Den Mushi, Bony-Sen fell silent for a long while before saying, "Act according to your capabilities. Preserve your strength. Do not force a confrontation."
Momousagi stared at Green Bull in horror. Damn it, the Starry was still more than a dozen nautical miles away from them, yet Green Bull had the nerve to brazenly boast that they had already fought and were being steadily driven back. Could he make it any more outrageous?
After hanging up the Den Den Mushi, Green Bull sighed. "The Navy has refused this order to sink the island. Whatever happens on Kerris Island next, I can't help anymore!"
Dark Undercurrents of Attack ### In the distant waters off Kerris Island, an astonishing number of warships lay hidden in the darkness of
