Beside the Starry, Jazz struggled through the water and grabbed the two men. With a powerful leap, he somehow jumped straight out of the sea and onto the Starry without anything to push off from, leaving them astonished once again.
High in the sky, Ronglin's figure drifted back as well, slowly descending onto the Starry. His clothes were unstained by blood or dust, and his expression remained calm and composed, as though nothing had happened.
Ronglin looked at the densely packed people floating on the sea, shook his head without saying a word, then turned and walked into the cabin.
"Those people are as good as dead," Burgess declared. "There aren't any islands nearby for them to reach. Their strength won't last long, and sooner or later, sea beasts will find them and devour every last one of them!"
