After the ship sailed out of the harbor, Ronglin stood at the stern, quietly watching the Blackbeard Pirates gathered within the bay. He suddenly spread his hands and rapidly formed seals. A wave of heat rolled off his body, and a roaring dragon surged into the sky from between his palms, blazing with fierce flames as it crashed down upon the Blackbeard pirate fleet anchored in the bay.

After an earth-shaking blast, the hijacked pirates behind Ronglin were terrified out of their wits. Amid the soaring firelight, they saw those warships shattered to pieces by Ronglin. The sturdy, solid vessels were as fragile as thin paper beneath the raging dragon's flames. The pirates unconscious aboard them had probably been wiped out completely under such a terrifying attack, hadn't they?

The hijacked pirates had still harbored a few petty thoughts not long ago, but now they trembled so badly they did not dare even breathe loudly. Their clothes were soaked through with cold sweat. They had never expected this quiet young man to be so ruthless, killing so many people without even blinking. Terror filled their hearts as they feared misfortune would befall them next.

"Did you see that?" Ronglin said blandly. "Pirates' lives are worthless in my eyes. If you don't want to end up like them, you'd better honestly take me where I want to go."

The pirates were scared out of their minds. How could they dare entertain any other thoughts? They immediately pushed the ship's speed to its limit and headed at full speed toward where Blackbeard and Burgess had encountered one another.

Ronglin stood at the bow with his hands behind his back, an invisible loneliness surfacing between his brows.
