As though she had installed a listening device in Ronglin's mind, Unohana Yachiru said coldly, "Even if I dislike someone, I won't let them sully my blade unless they are worthy of making me draw it."
Ronglin let out a long breath of relief. That was good, then. This lunatic at least had some compassion and would not kill innocents indiscriminately.
"Haha! That's when we do the work for her!" A Shinigami beside them picked up the conversation and laughed loudly. "Our captain can't just draw her blade whenever she likes. Taking action against trash would be beneath her, but if trash like me does it for her, then it's just right. So whenever I accompany the captain on a mission, if she dislikes someone but can't be bothered to act, I go up and finish them with one stroke!"
Ronglin frowned tightly. He had not expected this female lunatic to be so cruel, nor that the subordinates she led would be so bloodthirsty.
The strange atmosphere and conversation immediately drew the attention of those nearby. Many people looked over and saw Ronglin staring displeasedly at Unohana Yachiru, who sat in front of him quietly drinking, while the surrounding Shinigami were all animated and spirited, utterly lacking the fear one should have when facing a supreme expert.
Kyoraku Shunsui chuckled. "Something's about to happen!"
Jushiro Ukitake merely smiled without speaking, quietly watching the developments in the hall.
