Hyōsube Ichibē's ability to bestow names upon Zanpakuto was like a stone sinking into the sea before this blade—without a trace or response.
Departure!
Ronglin suspiciously toyed with the Zanpakuto in his hand. When he had emerged from that state of silence, this Asauchi had already awakened its consciousness, becoming a true Zanpakuto and Ronglin's exclusive weapon.
While in the Shinigami administrative hall, Ronglin had repeatedly sensed the Captain-General's Spiritual Pressure shifting without pause. Only after he had finally formed a connection with this Zanpakuto did the Captain-General's invisible intimidation soften. Ordinary people would never have noticed it, but with Ronglin's profound cultivation, his mastery of various power systems, and his keen spiritual senses, all at their peaks, how could he have failed to detect it?
Ronglin had been rather cautious at the time. After all, Seireitei had far too many damned rules, and he had no desire to be inexplicably arrested by a bunch of Shinigami.
Still, the Captain-General had eventually eased the pressure and displayed a tolerant bearing that put Ronglin much more at ease.
However, Ronglin sensed a fierce, unrestrained aura from the Zanpakuto. It was wildly savage and overbearing, and had repeatedly tried to invade the Asauchi in his hand. Ronglin did not know what was happening, but he could clearly feel that aura.
Unfortunately, although Ronglin could sense it, he had no way to react to it. In the end, that tangled aura vanished without a trace after he named the Asauchi "Silence."
"Could it be that fat monk from the Soul King Palace?" Ronglin wondered uncertainly. "Other than that monk, who else would be bored enough to cling to my Zanpakuto, only to disappear after I named it?"
The thought startled Ronglin. "Could my blade be that incredible? Even that monk couldn't name it?"
