Ronglin snorted disdainfully. Make a big move? Unify Hueco Mundo first. "Stark... which direction is the battle between Shadow of Death and the Shinigami Expeditionary Force moving? On the surface, which side holds the advantage?"
This question made the cowardly Adjuchas ponder for quite a while before it answered, "They're heading toward Void Land. There are many powerful Adjuchas within Void Land, far stronger than the Adjuchas under Emperor of Decay and Lord Szayelaporro. I'm guessing Shadow of Death holds the upper hand. It's pretending to lose in order to lure the Shinigami force into Void Land."
Ronglin asked, "Why?"
The Adjuchas replied, "Based on fragments of rumors from Hueco Mundo over the years, Shadow of Death seems to be looking for companions. But for an existence as powerful as it, how could it easily find another Vasto Lorde just as strong? Yet there are many hidden Adjuchas in Void Land, and they are extremely powerful. If they can devour those Shinigami, even Shinigami captains, and absorb their Spiritual Pressure, then perhaps one or two among them may evolve to become powerful enough to evolve into Vasto Lordes."
After giving it some thought, Ronglin had not expected this Adjuchas's analysis to make some sense. If that was the case, the Shinigami Expeditionary Force truly was unlikely to be Stark's match.
Ronglin began to worry again. That bastard Stark was going to such lengths to wipe out an entire Shinigami Expeditionary Force just to find himself a companion. If he really managed to produce one or two more Vasto Lordes, wouldn't Hueco Mundo be left with another hidden threat?
Ronglin suddenly became incomparably agitated, almost wanting to grab and tug
