Ronglin shook his head. Fortunately, he had never expected the Nine-Tails to obediently listen in the first place. But it would listen. Ronglin believed that.

His small fist collided with the Nine-Tails' massive claw, and unparalleled power erupted from Ronglin's body. The power of a tailed beast was terrifyingly fierce. Even with the Monster Strength Technique, Ronglin did not dare casually clash head-on with the Nine-Tails. However, because of the vast difference in size between them, Ronglin could choose to attack certain weak points of the Nine-Tails.

For example, one particular claw.

Like a human hand, the Nine-Tails' claw had five fingers. To maximize its burst of power, the Nine-Tails usually spread its claws apart when attacking, increasing the attack range of its paw. Such a range was deadly to others, but against Ronglin, the Nine-Tails would suffer a huge loss.

Crack—

A bone-snapping sound that set one's teeth on edge rang out. Under Ronglin's tremendous strength, the middle finger of the Nine-Tails' right claw bent backward at an almost impossible angle. Intense pain shot up from its finger, making the Nine-Tails roar as it hurriedly pulled back its own claw.

"Sometimes, being too big isn't necessarily a good thing."

With a teasing smile, Ronglin quickly closed in on the Nine-Tails. Sensing Ronglin's approach, the Nine-Tails was instantly shocked. Its body retreated like a streak of orange lightning, while its long tails whipped out, like enormous lashes tens of meters long, striking toward Ronglin.

Ronglin was extremely fast, and the Nine-Tails was not slow either. Its long tails rapidly approached Ronglin; if Ronglin continued closing in on the Nine-Tails, he would be struck by them.

"Whether it's strength, speed, or explosive power, all of it is incredibly strong. As expected of the Nine-Tails. Much better than the Three-Tails."
