Tsunade walked over to Ronglin's side. The constantly rippling space gave her an extremely dangerous feeling. If she had not trusted Ronglin, she would have stayed far away at once.
"Even if we caught up, it would be meaningless. Orochimaru is merely a pawn. Only he would foolishly think he's some kind of big shot."
Ronglin clenched his fist, and the air let out a low sonic boom. The spatial fluctuations intensified before gradually calming down.
"He joined Akatsuki. Is that organization really so powerful?"
Thinking of the clothes Orochimaru wore made Tsunade uncomfortable, and she began paying attention to the organization known as Akatsuki.
"Yes, very powerful."
Ronglin smiled and nodded, but he did not explain that Akatsuki was almost entirely made up of dangerous S-rank rogue ninjas.
There was also Obito, who ran around under Madara's name, the deeply hidden Black Zetsu, and the terrifyingly powerful Nagato. If Ronglin really explained it all, Tsunade would probably suggest joining forces with the others to wipe out Akatsuki next.
Akatsuki could not afford any problems yet. Even if they truly launched a campaign against it, Akatsuki could simply abandon the foundation it had built and hide somewhere. No one would be able to find them.
With Black Zetsu around, it was practically impossible to get close to them or gather any intelligence.
"Ay will be all right, won't he?"
Ōnoki walked over and gathered up the bodies of the two ninjas from his village.
"He'll be fine."
Ronglin glanced at Ōnoki, whose face was as black as coal, then shook his head.
"Orochimaru only wants to escape now and has no intention of fighting. Otherwise, he would not have released the Impure World Reincarnation. Besides, if Ay can't win, he'll run. Orochimaru won't be able to catch him."
"That's true."
