The reason Ronglin disliked these things was that they made a "clack-clack" sound against the ground when walking.
The floors in the Hokage's Office Building were all wooden, which made the sound even louder. Coupled with his innate resistance to kimono, Ronglin had no interest whatsoever in these so-called wooden sandals.

Though Ronglin said he disliked them, he still put them on. Uchiha Diqin happily narrowed her eyes, her smiling gaze as adorable as a pair of little crescent moons.

Hearing the knock, Ronglin walked over in his wooden sandals and sat down beside his desk. Looking at Kisame Hoshigaki as he entered, he asked, "What is it?"

"Yes."
Kneeling on one knee, Kisame Hoshigaki nodded and glanced outside.
"He is downstairs at the moment."
"Heh, that was fast. The intelligence report just arrived, and his man came right after it."
Ronglin could not help but laugh, then sighed.
"Sometimes, being too pushy is not a good thing. Let him come in. I want to see what he intends by sending intelligence while dispatching someone here at the same time."
In the past, Ronglin might have shown the Hokage's Daimyo some respect. But now that he was already preparing to get rid of him, why would he still give him face?

Uchiha Diqin was displeased as well. He had sent intelligence while also dispatching someone in person?

If so, then he was destined to leave disappointed.
