Green's Bookshop is opened not far from the Three Broomsticks. You can vaguely see the huge holly tree at the door of the bookstore, which is covered with colorful ribbons.
Justin glanced at the bookstore from a distance, then looked at the stunned Sean, stopped, and turned to look at the Three Broomsticks in front of him.
This is a small tavern with warm lights. There is a sign at the door that reads:
"Providing Butterbeer (signature), lemonade, hot Mead, red wine, cherry juice and soda water."
"How about we go to Three Broomsticks and have a drink Butterbeer? I've been wanting to drink it for a long time."
There are still ten minutes left before the opening time, he suggested.
"Okay."
Sean responded, and the two of them walked towards the bar.
The cold wind outside the bar is so cold that it makes one's hands freeze, but it's completely different inside the bar.
It was extremely crowded, noisy, hot, and smoky inside.
A beautiful-looking woman with graceful curves was greeting a group of noisy male witch in front of the bar.
"That's Rosmerta, right?"
Justin said,
"Before opening the store, I briefly learned about the wizards here... I'll go to the bar to get three cups of Butterbeer."
Of course he left.
Sean squeezed behind the bar, where there was a small empty table between the window and a beautiful holly tree, next to the fireplace.
And here, there happens to be a male witch with gray hair, ragged clothes, who looks haggard, pale and tired.
"Excuse me, can I sit here?"
Sean said.
"Please feel free to do so."
said the tired and haggard male witch.
He drank Butterbeer quietly, pausing for a moment after each sip, and then looked into the distance with tired eyes.
There, Green's Bookshop also posted a recruitment notice.
The remuneration given by Justin is not low. The weekly salary is fifteen Galleons, which is quite good.
If a wizard wants to make ends meet, he can do it with ten Gold Galleons. And just doing odd jobs in a bookstore can earn fifteen Galleons, which makes this notice very tempting.
Not to mention the store manager's remuneration - a weekly salary of thirty-five Gold Galleons, including food and accommodation. There are also additional bonuses.
"Do you want to apply for a store manager job?"
Sean asked.
"I'm not qualified for the job."
The tired male witch smiled and shook his head. He didn't expect that his emotions were so exposed that even the little wizard could see it.
"You should apply for the job."
Sean thought for a while and said.
The tired male witch laughed dumbly. This child has keen observation but seems to be a poor talker.
Five minutes later Justin came, holding three large cups of frothy hot Butterbeer.
"Halloween Happy!"
He raised his glass and said with a smile,
"Sir, would it be my honor to buy you a drink?"
Half of male witch's face was hidden in the hood, but Sean knew that he was surprised.
"Halloween Happy."
He finally took the wine glass.
Sean took a tentative sip. It was a wonderful thing that seemed to warm every inch of his body.
It was windy and snowy outside, and suddenly a cool breeze ruffled Sean's hair.
Three Broomsticks's door opened, Sean looked over the rim of the cup and quickly buried his head.
"Go quickly."
He said something.
The whole person disappeared.
Justin didn't know why, but he quickly hid himself with Disillusionment Charm. Then he saw Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick walking into the bar in a gust of wind and snow, followed by Hagrid. He didn't look too good.
Lupin drank Butterbeer lightly and narrowed his eyes.
He hadn't seen such an interesting thing for a long time. Two Hogwarts students who seemed to be well-behaved but were violating school rules...
"Filius, do you know what happened recently?"
In front of the bar, Professor McGonagall asked.
A woman's voice sounded:
"A small cup of Violet Water--"
"Mine."
Professor McGonagall took the wine glass.
"Four pints Mead--"
The voice sounded again.
"Thanks, Rosmerta."
Hagrid said.
"A glass with ice and Umbrella Snail Cherry Syrup Soda--"
"Yeah!"
Professor Flitwick smacked her lips and said,
"Recently, the little ones have been frightened by that rumor. You know, Penelope has come to ask me several times."
Because Hagrid is also here, Professor Flitwick is not clearly stated.
"Is it true?"
Professor McGonagall seems to be asking Professor Flitwick, but in fact, his eyes have been fixed on Hagrid.
Hagrid kept drinking Mead with his head down, and nothing seemed strange.
But Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick realized at the same time - the appearance today does not look like Hagrid at all.
"I think so."
Professor Flitwick spoke as if he had a clear understanding, and they saw Hagrid's body tremble.
"Things are in trouble."
Professor McGonagall said, at this time Hagrid relaxed again.
"Perhaps the trouble is solved?"
Professor Flitwick said in a high-pitched voice.
Hagrid became nervous again.
His reaction is too predictable. When it comes to facts, he gets nervous; when it comes to false news, he relaxes.
The most important thing is that this is subconscious, and he himself has no idea about it.
"I'm going, going, going to buy some..."
Hagrid stammered and muttered, and then walked away in a hurry. No one heard what he was saying.
Sean watched quietly. Hagrid seemed to be very angry with himself. He stepped into a puddle and didn't care until his shoes were covered with mud.
He has a rough appearance but a delicate mind. His wisdom is just enough to realize that he has done something wrong - somewhere between rarely making mistakes and not realizing it at all.
He walked and arrived at the door of Green's Bookshop.
Justin was allocating work at the very end and handing over Sean's signature book, while Sean was at the door, looking at the recruitment advertisement nearby, the Three Broomsticks in the distance, and Hagrid not far away.
"Halloween Happy, nice to see you here."
Sean said softly, his voice seemed to be mixed with rain and snow drifting into Hagrid's mind.
"Sean?!"
Hagrid looked at him blankly.
"Sean."
His face fell instantly.
"I heard it, it's okay."
Sean waved the magic wand, and the mud spots on Hagrid's feet disappeared.
Hagrid pursed his lips. He could never keep secrets and was always in trouble.
The last time he drank alcohol and exported information to Three-headed Dog, he almost lost his life to Harry. This time, the news about Basilisk was completely leaked.
"It doesn't matter."
Sean added.
This matter will be discovered sooner or later. Once the report comes out, it will be very difficult for Hogwarts to conceal the facts.
Sean also made plans.
The weak silver-white sun was shining on the venue, Hogsmeade Village was always covered in silver, and layers of white snow covered the pine branches. Sean saw a figure walking towards here.
He said softly:
"Be happy, Hagrid, you just helped me say something in advance."
