"Oh, are you okay, Sean?"

Justin's voice rang out.

In truth, Sean was not doing very well. He seemed to have already foreseen what was about to happen.

He silently changed seats, then heard a burst of whispers:

"What does Seamus want to do, Ron?"

"He wants to conjure alcohol in his goblet. A few days ago, he did manage to conjure some weak tea, but afterward..."

"Afterward?"

Suddenly, a massive cloud of scorching black smoke erupted, instantly engulfing Seamus.

Shards of the broken goblet and droplets of water flew everywhere as the surrounding Young Wizards cried out and scattered.

Hermione staggered backward in fright, her eyes wide.

The smoke slowly dispersed, revealing Seamus.

His face was blackened, as though he had just crawled out of a chimney. His hair, once flat, had been blasted into spikes, with wisps of smoke still rising from it.

He coughed repeatedly from the choking smoke, his eyes dull and unfocused. He had clearly been stunned silly by the sudden failure.

The entire long table fell silent for a moment before erupting into uproarious laughter.

Ron laughed so hard he slammed the table, spilling Pumpkin Juice everywhere;

Harry could not help laughing either and quickly lowered his head to hide his grin.

Only Justin hurried forward and offered him a handkerchief.

"Are you okay, Seamus?"

Just then, Owls flooded into the Great Hall as usual to deliver letters, conveniently drawing everyone's attention away.

Only Hermione looked suspiciously at Sean, who had shifted away at just the right moment.

"You felt that surge of magic?"

Ever since Professor Snape had given Sean that miraculous potion,

after Sean left the Dungeon, one or even two bottles of potion would always refresh on him.

Sometimes, the note on them read: Drink.
