Background

Before the supernatural upheaval, Tetsu was an ordinary student with no notable cultivation background. His later profile records that he surpassed practitioners from prominent families within less than half a year through near-constant cultivation. 327

His early supernatural encounters began at home, where he confronted evil spirits resembling his mother and sister. He used Ghost God Power and the Laughing Brahma Mask to destroy them, acquired Soul Ash, and gained the Hundred-Eyed Demon's pupils, which let him perceive mist above living beings as an indicator of their strength. 5

He began formal sword training under Ririko in the Tennen Rishin-ryū style, though he initially struggled with the discipline. Nanjō Emi later taught him the incomplete Imperial Spirit Technique online, expanding his Onmyōjutsu beyond his original combat methods. 11 16
