After Hagrid finished taking his books and left in high spirits.
Ron returned as well, carrying a huge stack of books.
"Dragon!" he said in a lowered voice. "Hagrid's looking up information about dragons!"
"Brook's suggestion probably got approved," Hermione said unconcernedly.
"What suggestion?" Harry asked curiously.
Hermione felt there was nothing to hide.
After all, if Hogwarts really raised a dragon, Harry and the others would hear about it from Hagrid sooner or later.
So she told them how Brook had originally suggested raising a dragon.
"Then let's hurry over and take a look," Ron said, jumping up excitedly.
His brother Charlie raised dragons in Romania.
He knew a great deal about dragons and was the most curious of them all.
Harry immediately supported Ron's suggestion.
He had long since grown tired of reading.
And so, the four of them were successfully thrown out of the library by Madam Pince once again.
The four of them did not care in the slightest and hurried straight to Hagrid's Hut.
At that moment, the hut's curtains were drawn tightly shut, without the slightest gap.
Ron impatiently knocked on the door.
"Who is it? Who's there?!"
Hagrid opened the door a crack. Only after seeing that it was Brook and the others did he breathe a sigh of relief.
After letting them in, he quickly shut the door again.
"Hagrid, it's just raising a dragon. Do you really need to be this secretive?" Ron asked as soon as he entered, already searching around the room.
"How did you find out?" Hagrid looked somewhat flustered.
Ron excitedly called out, "Come over here and look!"
Brook and the others walked over as well.
There was a large, blackened egg in the flames of the fireplace.
"How exactly did you find out?" Hagrid grew anxious.
