Sanders did not investigate too deeply into the disturbance that had appeared in Shadow Cave. After all, they would be leaving tomorrow.
Once he had roughly sorted out the fact that Angel was actually quite innocent in this matter, Sanders said nothing more. As long as Angel had not deliberately gone looking for trouble, that was fine.
Sanders led Angel into the Gravity Garden, where the enormous serpent's corpse still lay out in the open.
Sanders meant that although he had killed the giant serpent, Angel had been the one to draw it out. He had brought Angel in to ask whether there were any parts he wanted.
After hesitating for a moment, Angel pointed at the blood flowing from the giant serpent's wound. "Is this blood useful?"
Sanders replied blandly, "Because of the giant serpent's emotional domain, the blood in its body was also affected. Other than being used to make blood ink, it should have no other use."
Angel was somewhat disappointed upon hearing that. He had originally wondered whether the blood could replace Axo's blood to feed those Soft-State Worms. Since it had been affected by the giant serpent's emotions, it clearly could not be used for feeding.
Aside from the giant serpent's blood, Angel did not care much about its other parts. In the end, Sanders gave Angel the serpent's scaled hide and a snake fang imbued with frost poison.
Sanders' meaning was obvious as well. Angel could use alchemy to refine the snakeskin into defensive equipment and grind the snake fang into a weapon. Both were essence parts of the giant serpent and worth a great deal. This was also Sanders' earnest care for Angel.
After the distribution, Angel took the opportunity to bring up Axo's essence blood.
Kant had previously judged that Axo's essence
