Could I have been discovered? Angel felt an inexplicable unease.
Judging by the frequency of the tremors, it was definitely something enormous.
Each tremor kicked up vast amounts of dust, making the air in the underground karst cave exceedingly murky. Worse still, as it drew nearer, rubble rained down from overhead, and the underground cave even showed signs of collapsing.
Angel was now almost certain that the enormous creature was coming for him.
"Why did it have to be now?!"
The magic source within him was nearly exhausted. If he faced an external enemy now, he would be at an absolute disadvantage. Besides, though he could not determine the creature outside's level, it surely would not be low.
It might even be stronger than the giant serpent he had encountered in Shadow Cave!
Since arriving in the Abyss, this was probably the unluckiest moment Angel had faced. Speaking of timing, the Abyss's environment naturally put him at a disadvantage compared to native Abyssal creatures; speaking of terrain, he was trapped in a sealed underground cave with no route of escape; and speaking of allies, Sanders was not here, while his magic source was depleted... It could be said that heaven, earth, and man were all against Angel.
In such a passive predicament, what could break the deadlock?
Angel suppressed the panic rising within him and forced himself to calm down, muttering under his breath, "There's a way... There must be a way..."
His thoughts spun rapidly as Angel counted through every trump card he could possibly turn over.
Then he realized that if he faced a Demonic Beast stronger than himself head-on, he had virtually no way to respond.
If the Door Model in his mind space could take shape, then with the stable spatial state of Windwhisper Valley, he
