Angel was currently doing two things.
The first was lying on the roof, watching the mottled tree shadows and feeling the rhythm of the breeze around him.
Fafnir's innate wind domain had originally only been meant to block the gaze of outside demons. Angel remained within it to avoid being seen through by demons. But with nothing to do on the roof for the moment, he simply began sensing the whispers of the nearby breeze.
The moment he did, Angel noticed the mysteries of the surrounding wind elements.
Or rather, the exquisite subtlety of Fafnir's control over wind.
It was like strands of supple thread. They swayed like gentle wind and soft rain, seeming wholly harmless, yet they had in fact enveloped every corner, weaving a gauze curtain of wind with the breeze as its threads. But should anything unusual appear nearby, Angel believed those supple strands would instantly turn into wire-blade edges, and the breeze would immediately become a gale of whirling blades.
This control over wind engrossed Angel without his realizing it, making him want to delve deeper into the mysteries of wind.
Naturally, Angel's probing did not escape Fafnir's notice. Had it been anyone else, Fafnir would likely have twisted them into a pile of bones at once. But Angel was, after all, the envoy chosen by Odecras. Fafnir merely frowned and let him be. In any case, with Angel's strength, he could not comprehend anything.
And that was indeed the case. A domain, like a realm, was a world one could only encounter after becoming a true-knowledge wizard. Within the wind domain, Angel could not discover any profound mysteries at all. Still, it was not entirely without gain. Angel's "journey through wind" was likely an experience no wizard in the entire Wizarding World had ever been
